The Silly Misadventures of Bumble Boo and Doe Doe: “The Birthday Surprise” is the fourth book in the Silly Misadventures of Bumble Boo and Doe Doe series.  The story is inspired by the relationship between her goddaughter, Abigail (Abby) Hope, “Bumble Boo” and her husband, Vince, “Doe Doe.”

     This book, “The Birthday Surprise" was a true collaboration between Abby (now age 6) and Jenna.  Abby was clear that she wanted a story that included, "a ladybug party with ladybug balloons and a ladybug cake."  Also, Abby requested three new characters - her grandma, grandpa and grandpa's dog as well as one of her stuffed animals, named Zopher. 

     With this, Jenna set work to create the new characters (Pop Pop, Ne Ne and Free Free) and grow the story line to include all of them.  "The Birthday Surprise" captures all of Abby's wishes and is a sweet story of friendship and adventure.

     When not working on her next creative project, Jenna is the Director of Human Resources for a large public school system. She and her husband reside in Upstate New York.
